5. Usage Instructions
Preheat and dry the alloy ingot before remelting. The melting temperature is determined by the size, wall thickness, and other external factors of the casting, usually between 670-720°C.
6. Advantages
This alloy belongs to the Al-Si-Mn-Mg quaternary eutectic alloy, with good fluidity, heat crack resistance, and is suitable for die casting. The alloy castings have high room temperature strength and excellent impact resistance, and can also be strengthened by heat treatment. It is not suitable for anodizing.
7. Applications
Widely used for castings with complex structures that require high impact strength: widely used in automotive structural parts, such as sub-frames, shock absorbers, and fasteners, as well as communication outdoor equipment brackets, shell bearing parts.
